In a Ceremony Honoring Ramadan Projects, Supporters, Partners, Sponsors and Youth Initiatives

Qatar Charity honored the sponsors and supporters of its humanitarian and development projects, volunteers, collaborators, influential figures, and the winners of the “Initiatives Challenge” program held during the holy month of Ramadan this year, in recognition of their remarkable efforts and outstanding roles in carrying out humanitarian action and serving the local community.
The honoring took place in a ceremony, which also witnessed the announcement of the winning initiatives, with the “Tastahek”, “Future Compass”, and “Future Compass” initiatives bagging the first, second, and third spots respectively. The certificates and mementos of appreciation were awarded to winners and other initiatives, which participated in the challenge.
A video clip on programs implemented by Qatar Charity’s Local Development Department during the holy month of Ramadan was played and each initiative participating in the challenge gave a presentation during the ceremony.
The winners were selected based on evaluation criteria relating to a creative idea, efficient plan, activity, teamwork, social media engagement, effective presentation, and the need of the local community for the activity. Among the list of recipients are Baladna Food Industries and Kidzmondo Doha, affiliate companies of Power International Holding.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Jassim Al Emadi, director of Local Development Department at Qatar Charity said, “Qatar Charity is keen to cooperate with all bodies within and outside of Qatar in the humanitarian field, including awareness, volunteering, and supporting Qatar Charity’s charitable projects with all possible means”.
He also thanked all the sponsors and supporters of Qatar Charity’s projects and programs for cooperation in the past, expressing his hope that the joint endeavors would continue to further develop this collaboration with partners, sponsors, ministries, and governmental and private bodies in future.
