Power International Holding Receives “Fastest Implementation of SAP ARIBA” Award in the Region

October 2019 – Power International Holding (PIH) was recognized and awarded at the largest procurement event in the Middle East, SAP Ariba Live Dubai. PIH received recognition for the “Fastest implementation of SAP Ariba” in the region, running the first auctions just a few weeks since the start-up. The event witnessed participation of more than 900 Procurement Professionals, where they had the opportunity to interact, share experiences and listen to new developments and features of the system.

Additionally, PIHs Chief Procurement & Supply Chain Officer, Mr. Gustavo Rico, was invited as guest speaker to share the company’s digital transformation agenda and discuss in a panel the company’s experiences in planning and executing auctions in SAP Ariba. PIH was accompanied by SAP Ariba’s Customer Engagement Team in Qatar and by PIHs implementation partner, Star B2B.
